Roses…

From June until now the roses have been on a “non-stop” bloom cycle…

These are some of the beauties that have graced my garden this summer…a combination of hybrid tea and floribunda roses.

  1. Roses are my favourite too, (obviously, as in Tattered Rose) followed closely by peonies, hydrangeas and lilacs. I SO admire your gardening skills, Judy!

  2. Just lovely Judy! Growing roses has always intimidated me as I would have to grow them in pots, but seeing those makes me want to give it a try next year!

  3. Beautiful Judy! I can almost smell the fragrance. I planted two Canada Shield rose bushes a few years ago. They are beautiful full red Roses, with a lovely fragrance. This species was created for our harsh northern climate, and seem to be foul proof. Another bonus is that they bloom all summer.

    1. Hi Karen, It’s amazing that in such a short growing season like we have roses can provide so much pleasure! I’m happy to hear that your roses performed so beautifully this summer.
