More Summer Photos…

Earlier this week, I received the following photos from Ryan of inHabit, the photographer who takes promotion photos for the landscape company that laid the paving stones in my back garden.  He was generous enough to permit me to share them on the blog.

These photos were taken on June 24, the beginning of summer.  Ryan’s objective was to showcase the new pavers, but he did capture the beginnings of the new perennial gardens along the paving stone walkways.  It’s interesting for me to see my garden through the lens of someone else’s camera!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  It looks like the weather will be glorious…perhaps we can celebrate part of the weekend in the garden.  xox Judy❤️

  1. Beautiful Judy! The fifth picture, the close up of the fountain and single chain, immediately brought to mind sitting around the fountain at the Palais Royale, in a miniature version. Lovely. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Judy.

    1. Hi Karen, What a lovely thought…to be sitting around a fountain in Paris just daydreaming the day away.  Wouldn’t it be perfect to have a garden like that here at home for us all to enjoy?  Happy Thanksgiving, xox Judy❤️

  2. Simply beautiful Judy…looks like you could be somewhere in Paris❤️
    Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

    1. Thank you Catherine, A walk through the Tuileries in the fall is the best way to spend an afternoon, with the leaves of the chestnut trees crunching underfoot. In French they don’t say, “I’m missing Paris”. Instead they would say, “Paris is missing from me”. That is exactly how I feel today… Happy Thanksgiving, xox Judy❤️

  3. Oh my gosh Judy, you really must make a coffee table book of your garden…I’d be first in line to buy it! What a gorgeous oasis you’ve created. Everything about it is magical!! Maisons des Fleurs just sets my heart a flutter every time I see it. It’s in my dreams to have something like that…it’s so beautiful inside and out. The sound of your beautiful fountain must be pure therapy🥰. Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs, Karen xo❤️

  4. Thank you Karen, I wish I could take photos like a professional because they really know what angles to use to get the perfect shot. The fountain is central to the garden, not only for us but for all the birds and insects who visit it daily. That is my entertainment on many days! xox Judy❤️
