Perfection in the nature…

I love winter and, in particular, snow…I’m sure I’m in the minority on this! Yes, it’s been bitterly cold and driving on icy roads is a nightmare, but the beauty that surrounds us is impossible to ignore

A winter garden is more beautiful (my opinion!), than when in full bloom at the height of summer.

This is what my garden looks like today.

Only nature can create these beautiful landscapes… it’s just not possible to replicate by man.    This perfection is fleeting.  A strong wind can whip up in a minute, the temperatures can climb into melting range or more than likely, Charlie can leave her tracks behind as she does her daily patrol of the garden.

  1. You have no idea how happy I am to hear that there are others out there that see snow through my eyes. The cool crisp air (maybe a little less crisp than -30ish though) and clean fresh snow is a blanket like no other. Your yard looks amazing!

    1. Hi Joyce, Snow adds beauty and mystery…even Ernest Beaux, the perfumer for Chanel wanted to include the scent of “snow” in what became the the final formula for Chanel No. 5. xox Judy❤️

  2. Thank you for sharing this lovely poem Judy. I am with you on the snow cover. I love it. I have not been venturing out much due to the cold, so I’m happy to have beautiful snow covered giant spruce trees to look at from my windows. As always, your yard look amazing! Enjoy the landscape while it lasts.

  3. I couldn’t agree more Judy and your garden looks lovely! I love having an excuse to put on a nice big cozy sweater and stay inside with a nice hot chai tea and enjoy the beauty of snowflakes and the frosty winter scene outside my window….and no mosquitoes or wasps😂. Stay warm and enjoy your beautiful winter garden! Hugs, Karen xo🥰

    1. Hi Karen, I’m surprised that so many of us are “like-minded thinkers”! This kind of beauty only comes around once in a while…enjoy your view from the window. xox Judy❤️
