The Garden in Summer…

As I look out into my garden today, I’m fully aware that fall is just around the corner.  The leaves haven’t really started to turn colour yet, but the annuals and perennials are fizzling out.  The ground is dry and cracked, and as I move the hose around, I’m reminded that we have no control over nature.  The hydrangea leaves are droopy and the flowers, heavy, are turning brown…not that lovely shade of pinkish burgundy that’s so special in the fall.

I went through the photos I took over the summer and will share them daily this week.  Next week I hope to start the blog up for another year.

Looking forward to catching up with you again and hearing about your summer.
